Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
